Once again, Byron proved to be a great race and a great weekend to bring the season to a close. A huge turnout of TRIADS and supporters were there, with 28 members racing.
Special mentions go to placegetters Tim (3rd), Robina (2nd) and Smoothy (3rd); Richard who completed his first triathlon, and Steph and Kim who both completed their first olympic distance race (only 5 seconds difference!).
Big thanks go to the cheer squad, including Breeza, Wybrand, Leisa Nichols, Mia, Jane Gado and Cathy.
Thanks also go to Jae for providing some cash for the barbeque on Saturday night and resident cook Anthony, who once again made sure the food was terrific.
