All sessions vary in intensity throughout the course of the year. All the training is at the UQ Aquatic Centre or around the university. For rides, this varies from doing sprints up and down Sir William Macgregor Drive, hills at Fig Tree Pocket, sprints at the Brisbane Corso or we do the River Loop. The first training session is free so come and try one out.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Swim 5:00am - 6:00am – these swim sessions are taken by UQ’s swim coaches at the UQ pool. The 5:00am - 6:00am squad is optional and you can choose to swim when it is most convenient for you. See the UQ Aquatic Centre Group Fitness Timetable for other swim squad sessions (link below).

Tuesday: Run 5:30 - 7:00am: - varies from hills, sprints, track work, long runs, recovery runs

Wednesday: Windtrainer 6:00am - 7:00am (windtrainers provided) - closer to races we do transition sessions where we alternate between swimming, riding and running.

Thursday: Ride 5:30am - 7:00am: - warm up, main set of sprints or hills, cool down back to the university

Friday: Run 6:00am - 7:00am – hills, sprints, etc.

Saturday: Transition 6:00am - 8/9:00am - this session will be taken regularly from the 24th of October.
